For my post Today I am linking up with Sugar and Spice for Wordless Wednesday!
As I enter my 5th official day as a blogger, I have started playing around with PowerPoint to make a button for my blog. Here's what I've come up with so far (been able to figure out)!
As I start to figure out the design aspect of blogging, my question is does anyone have any advice on other programs to use beside PowerPoint?
I would love to hear from other newbie bloggers or first year teachers! :)
I use a combination of PowerPoint, Photoshop Elements and Inkscape for all the different things I work on. Good luck and have fun! BTW I like the third button, it is pretty cute :)

Thanks so much for the info! I will have to check it out! I liked the third button best. Third times the charm, right? ;) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThey all look great! Thanks for stopping by my blog BTW (for wordless wednesday)
ReplyDeleteLinky's are a great way to find blogs you really like.
A couple of tips from someone who was a newbie blogger not too long ago!
You should add a bloglovin button to the side so that it's easy for people to follow you :)
And you should respond to comments by email. It's annoying, but the person you are replying to doesn't get the response unfortunately. I found this out after about 9 months which was really annoying!!
Feel free to email me if you have any other questions, although I don't know everything!! - learningtobeawesome@gmail.com
All the best with your new blogging AND teaching journey!! I look forward to reading all about it :)

Learning to be awesome
I like the third button too! I've just started blogging myself and used picmonkey to build my button. I wrote a post about how I got started, made a grab button and link to bloglovin which you can find on my blog: Growing Little Learners
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your blog and the teaching!
